Feb 17, 2018

It's finally here !! The Fifth annual, though we do miss a year or 2, and still haven't come up with a better name, Sun Riders Game Show Ride.

Back by popular demand, the 5th annual Sun Riders Game Show Ride will take place on Saturday March 24th. We'll meet at the McDonalds parking lot, located at 16250 Highway 54 next to the Suncoast Parkway. Be there by 9:20 AM, we'll leave promptly at 9:32.

What is a game show ride, you ask? A Game Show ride is a back country, relaxing, scenic speed limit drive that requires you to observe what you see along the way and answer a list of questions that will be handed out. So, though it's not required, to be able to play, you will want to have a navigator/observer/writer down the answers person, sitting next to you. No navigator, no problem, come with us anyway, you'll enjoy this year’s route for sure and lunch at our destination.

As always, fabulous prizes will be awarded in several different categories and some lucky participants will have the “opportunity” to win thousands of dollars. This year’s questionnaire will be like previous ones. You'll be answering questions that are easy, hard, funny and some (Judy says most) that are well, just plain silly.

Bring a pencil or pen. A clip board or something to hold the answer sheet. ( might make things easier ) and your entry fee. .....Just kidding about that entry fee stuff again. A Sun Pass can be used for the ride home via the Suncoast Parkway in Brooksville.

This year’s Game Show ride will end up at Beef O’Bradys in Brooksville ( 7601 Horse Lake Rd, Brooksville, FL 34601 ) where winners will be determined and prizes handed out. You will grade your own answer sheet. Lunch prices are reasonable and it's very casual. We have a separate room reserved for our festivities.

This ride will be all back roads and attempts to bypass as much civilization as possible. Our Ride will take approximately 2 hours . I can guarantee, you have never been on some of the roads we will be Game Showin on, this time. You thought we were out in the country last Game Show ride… well, you ain’t seen nothing yet. But Dean, you ask, how could this year’s ride be better than the last one? Well, you’ll just have to come and find out for yourself.

There will be a potty break for those of us that will need one, about an hour and 20 minites into the ride.

I need to know about how many to expect for lunch so we can give the restaurant a ballpark figure. Please e-mail me back at Dn_Mchls@Yahoo.com or reply to this post if you will or think you may make it. Don’t know until that morning ? …… come anyway.
