Fall Florida AutoFest - Bigger is indeed better! Fall Florida AutoFest takes place at its all new and ultra spacious facility, the SUN ‘n FUN complex in Lakeland, Florida.

By coming to Lakeland and Fall Florida AutoFest, you’re not just coming to a car show or automotive themed weekend, you’re coming to an event that is suitable for enthusiasts of all ages. It doesn’t matter if you’re the most die-hard car guy (or girl) or you’re a family looking for a day out of the house, Fall Florida AutoFest has it all! The weekend plays host to thousands of collector and classic automotive enthusiasts who will come to SUN ‘n FUN for one of the largest automotive swap meets in the region. In addition, there are classic cars and trucks available within the car corral or enjoy a thrilling collector car auction presented by Carlisle Auctions.

Overall Plans for Day:

Meet at 8:30 AM at Buddy Freddys for Breakfast. Meeting Place: I-4 Exit 19 Thonotosassa Rd. Exit puts you right on Thonotosassa Rd. Make right at the end of the exit ramp. Buddy Freddys is on left at the light (past McDonald's). Address is 1101 Goldfinch Dr, Plant City, FL 33563 Phone: (813)754-5120.

This is a buffet for $11.01, which includes scrambled eggs, omelettes ($1 extra) pancakes, cereals, bacon, sausage, grits. Essentially most breakfast items. The price includes coffee, tea and other beverages.

Leave Buddy Freddys at about 9:30 AM. Arrive at Auction site at about 10:00 AM.

Lunch is on your own - vendors are located within the auction site.

Everyone can leave whenever they have had enough fun.

In order to permit everyone to stay as little or as long as they like, I decided not to plan a dinner. This is a long day, and I wasn't sure what everyone would like to do after walking around all day.

Anyone wants to stay for dinner, might try one of these two nearby restaurants:

Hallback's (Barbeque restaurant at the airport) - in Main Terminal Building, 3900 Don Emerson Dr #201, Lakeland, FL 33811 863.937.8900
