Sadly our 97 Miata got totaled last weekend by a Ford Explorer who never hit the brakes and ran squarely into the back side of the car...Concussion and air bag burns...So sadly we have had to replace ZZ with another. We've purchased a 1999 in excellent condition and low miles. Since I'm a stickler for originality, I want to replace the aftermarket radio with an OEM Bose...Any info on the 99 Bose would be greatly appreciated. Typically was the unit a single din or double? Anywhere I can get an original or repro Bose Radio harness?,since I believe the original has been hacked to bits. Helpppppp!!!! And thanks in advance!!!!

Rich,
The Bose in the '99 was a single-DIN unit. If the whole system has been removed, you'll need the head unit, the amp, and the speakers. Keep an eye out on eBay. They do come up for sale from time to time as many people have removed them.
